SCT TUNER Check Eng Light On 4 EGR

Hey guys I have a question .
I had my EGR Deleted and have always had the light on until I got my SCT tuner last week and after installing one of the tunes(which had the EGR Removal option,which I checked) it disappeared and after I started the truck a couple of times it reappeared.
I checked the DIC codes in the tuner(thinking it was something due to the tuner) and it said the EGR codes were coming UP. I returned the truck to stock and loaded the tune and it was gone but has returned.

Since I returned Home I was able to upload the latest updates for the TUNER and I havent yet reloaded the truck SO

MY Question is: Does the FIRMWARE AND UPDATES CORRECT THIS PROBLEM or is there something else Im missing

plug the egr valve in and lay it on top the intake.

just have your tuner put in your tunes its deleted and the cel won't come on

I have a delete and I just left mine in there(no block off plate)... on some of the newer trucks 06/07 you have to keep the egr plugged in even though it's deleted.

I don't have a light on this way.

When the CEL is turned off for the egr what does that mean? what happens to the coolant flow, need more info. does the egr cooler have to be blocked off? (deleted) ??????
