Safest tuner/programer?

I'd love to get a new tuner/chip/programmer for christmas, but trying to decide which one is the safest to get that will not tear up my truck. I have the common easy mods like new intake exhaust and head studs, but thats about it. Please share your experience.

F250 King ranch- 4" magnaflow turbo back strait- BANKS cold air intake-BANKS RAM intake manifold- 8" PRO COMP stage XX (dual coil over) Lift--37" BFG AT-APR Studs & Delete--replaced high pressure oil-suncoast torque converter--powermax turbo(stage1)
.
Looking too add--- SCT with Insight--injectors--any other bulletproofing strategies...NEED ADVICE (Especially where to get my tunes) (I am mechanically inclined but new to doing things myself so I would love easy upgrades to do for experience)

Now how difficult would it be for me to programm my sct custom tuner and get it all set up to plug into my truck. I am not that well educated on that sort of stuff.

Custom tunes from vivian or innovative diesel.

You can get any of their tunes for your type of truck and they will all be safe. But I am not sure about innovative Xrace, I feel that is a little rough on the trans.

For innovative, the "Street" tune will be good if you do not want to chance it. it gives you power, mpg, and good tuning for the trans. But there are tunes in between "street" and "Xrace" that many use and like and are safe.

If you do not want the engine tuning, just get a trans tune. But you really should get some kind of tune that does both the eng and trans. One reason is that the custom tune can turn off your egr valve. That is a huge +.

For innovative diesel, put in an order for what ever tune(s) that you want, Eric will email you a few days later asking for how you want your tunes, mods on the truck and what kind of flash you have. Then in a few days he will email you your tunes, load them from the sct program onto the sct, then on to the truck. it is a straight forward process
