My New Edge Insight CS turns my water in fuel light on???

I have a wierd problem. I recently bought an edge insight for my 04 powerstroke. When it is the screen that displays the parameters (gauges) the thing turns my water in fuel light on. (and sometimes the buttons on the CS do not work) when i go into the menu fuction. the light goes off. but whenever it is monitoring my parameters, it turns that light on. I sent the insight to edge three times. they even brought in a truck identical to mine to see if they could duplicate it with no luck. I need to know what the heck could be going on? is there a bad ground? how is the odb II port related to the water in fuel light?

plug the insight to the computer and update it.

that has no effect. It is already updated to latest software

Any chance you found out a solution on this.

I the past 30 days I have bought a CS and now my water in fuel light is always on. Two weeks ago, I went ahead and changed the filters, no luck. Then again over the weekend I drained the catch, and that damn warning is still popping up. My first 2 weeks with the CS I had no issues, and never would have thought the two could be linked until I read this thread.

My truck was just in the shop after some seals blew out on the HPOP. Still trying to find out from the mechanic to see if the truck was flashed.

Thank goodness im not the only one. I have my truck being looked at by a ford diesel tech / engineer and so far he has found no issues with my truck. What you described is identical to my truck. It came on at first then went off and now its always on. I will be callling those guys at edge today. my cell is 313 421 5173. I dont care if edge has to fly a software engineer to my house to figure this out. Please call me. They told me no one else is having this problem.. WE paid big bucks to get the lastest technology and they cant even get it right
