My question is what programmer should i run? currently have rize 12" lift with 22 on 40's toyo and still on stock gears. I dont need the speed, just want to pull mt 40's and gain some mpg. currently getting 9 mpg babying it. please help me. have in mind Edge Platinum W/attitude or SCT. Skip the air intake.... and go with the SCT X3
The factory air intake is good for 500hp. (heard that here) |

i'd gear your axles before tuning. only reason those 40's are putting alot of extra strain on your transmission. will also help with performance and get you some better mpg.

i agree with the re gearing..... i would add ome 4.30's to it if not 4.56.... i was running 4.30's on 40's and it was a good combo.. got back my bottom end torque but still had great fuel economy on the highway...
as for a tuner i only recommend a X3 with custom tunes like this: SCT X3 Custom Innovative Diesel Tunning -Raul |

thanks guys, yeah just picked up some axles front and back with 4.56 and arb lockers and after market covers on it. does the SCT x3 allow you to put in your tire size

it would prob be easier to just have Eric make the tunes with that tire size and gear ratio in mind.... -Raul |

Eric from innovative diesel.... hes one of the top tuners for the 6.0L
when we sell a X3 we only sell it with custom tunes from Innovative diesel... -Raul |

Majority of guys on this site are running SCT. My truck had a quadzilla when I bought it, but I have since joined the SCT crowd. You won't regret it. I have only dealt with Matt at gearheadautomotive for my tunes and have had great success.
