new truck time for a new exhaust need pointers on price/type

so i just got the truck finally and i want to put a new exhaust on it. i want to put aa 5" turbo back straight pipe but just wondering what illinois will say about emmisions as far as i know we do not test here. anyways im thionking the mbrp 5" any suggestions and where can i get it the cheepest dont need SS. also does a tip affect the tone and anything else i need to look out for???

You can get a cat delete pipe so you can switch them out, and then get a 5" cat back system.

i looked at the site and i dont see any shopping links. i am on a budget so im looking to get it for as cheap as possible. i see them all over just not everyone shows the mbrp sale link too. i think i want the 6224 system it shows no ca but i believe it has a muffle r how much difference does the muffler make in these systems?

All exhausts are basically the same thing. A 5" system will be a tad bit deeper with the note and deliver a slightly higher level of drone over a 4" system. There is no performance difference between the 4" and 5" kits.

Because the differences is negligible between all the different exhaust manufacturers I would suggest just finding the cheapest priced kit in the size you want especially since you're not worried about having a stainless steel setup.

I'm also looking into getting a exhaust system to get a little more sound. I'm still undecided if I should do a cat back or turbo back with a cat delete. Muffler or no muffler?
