Mods Performed - Now Throwing Codes - Need Advice
I have recently purchased a 2007 F-350 Dually with the 6.0 deisel with 38,000miles. I just got it back from the shop where I had the following work. 4" MBRP dual exhaust turbo back w/o the cat, uppipe blocked off and a Jobe air intake. 2 days after the mods were done my check engine light comes on. My CTS came up with codes P0401 and P1000. The P0401 appears to be exhaust related (exact code not found) and the P1000 indicated "OBD 2 Monitors/drive cycle incomplete". Are these codes related to the modifications? Should i be worried? Should I clear the codes?

Yes they are mod related
P0401 is insufficient EGR flow P1000 means he mustve disconnected the batteries |

Great! Then I will clear the codes. Will the codes keep popping up, or once cleared never to appear again.

The EGR code can keep popping up untill you get a tuner to turn it off.

My SCT 3 should be in today, hopefully that will take care of it. Thanks Again.

The canned tunes won't turn it off, you have to get custome tunes.

So, when I get my SCT X3 I have to relay this to the programmer so that the code can be eliminated?

From what I've notied all the custom tunes come with EGR 99% turned off, but it couldn't hurt to mention it.
