Running 190s on Eric's extreme street. I have a stock system with updated FPR spring and 6.4l banjo bolts. My fuel pressure stays at 68psi until I give it half throttle and it will drop to 60-62. That is normal driving and passing people, taking off, speeding up, etc.... I tried the WOT once and it plummeted to 20psi. My mpg is 17-20 too.
Next, I am going to upgrade the feed lines to the heads, then a regulated return. I just want to see if the stock pump will be able to keep up with the 190s if given the chance. |

Mine stays at 62 and drops to 58 at WOT but I have a AirdogII.

I was just as shocked.. I figured mine would drop from 13. I am getting a lil better than 18 on the low side because my speedo is off by about 6 @ 55.

What is the best Fuel PSI to be running at? I have an Air Dog II with the adjustable regulator. I might need to turn it up a bit.

70 is max for the injectors. Any more and you are asking for problems. 45 is the minimum. I would set it around 65.

Mine does the weirdest thing. I have a regulated return too so I have to mess with it a little to figure out what PSI the airdog is putting out. Ill get it set and at idle its at about 55 and will get as high as 65 when accelerating and at WOT its at about 55. Later that day I come back and start driving my truck around and at idle its at 60 and would start to hit 75 when cruising then back down to about 60 at WOT. I did not change a thing since I last drove it. So I adjusted it again and now I'm at 60 psi at idle and it will go up to about 63 while cruising and down to 53-54 at WOT. I'm hoping I dont have to mess with it again.
