Lets talk strategies
I currently have the VXCF7D2 in my 05. Apparently its one that kills FICM's, right now its not too bad in the cold with T5 10w30, if i lets the plugs cycle twice its perfect in 20* starts. But i know this is just the beginning of the cold winters.
What strategy would you recommend i roll back to? Seems like there are way to many strategies out there its starting to make my head spin. Im really thinking the easiest for my truck would be VXCF4 since my custom tunes are all built based off this strategy... what do you guys think? Mods in my sig Thanks in advance for the help. |

According to Matt@Gearhead the VXCF4 is the best strategy to be on the 05 and up.

I tend to agree with that. I really need to get an FICM flash

I've read on the forum where some guys have had issues with the inductive heating strategies killing FICM's. What strategy did they start with?? Mine is the VXCF4D2 on my 05, would it be after this?

The strategy is the factory tune on your truck.
When we are talking VXCF4 and VXCF7 and the like we mean the stock tune thats on the truck |

VXCF4 FTW! Thats what I have been running for two years

Are these strategies good for specific year trucks? For instance, I have VXBC9 on my 04, and was told that is the best one for my year, is this true?
