I have Innovative tunes and gearhead tunes. Both are awesome and very reliable. You'll notice a difference of night & day with custom tunes. If you haven tried any custom tunes here is a link to some free spartan tunes from a while back. You can load them by your specific truck strategy and try the different settings to get an idea of what the tunes will do for your truck. You can't go wrong with Eric or Matt's tunes.

Index of /~amon/tunes

Spartan Tune Descriptions

Stock+ 20HP - "tweaked" stock calibration

Heavy Tow 40HP - safe to tow Max GVWR of vehicle

Heavy Tow w Engine Brake 40HP - safe to tow Max GVWR of vehicle, with turbocharger exhaust braking

Aggressive Tow 65HP - safe to tow/haul 10,000LBS payload

Aggressive Tow w Engine Brake 65HP - safe to tow/haul 10,000LBS payload, with turbo exhaust braking

General Economy 90HP - daily-use economy file, 7500LBS tow/haul limit

Max Economy - designed for maximum fuel economy; no assigned power or tow ratings

Mild Street Economy 100HP - daily-use performance and economy calibration

Aggressive Street Economy 130HP - daily-use performance and economy calibration

Hybrid Race 150-170HP - (dependant upon calibration) performance calibration

Ultra Competition 175HP - drag-race/sled pull ONLY calibration

I have heard of people having problems with the Spartan tunes being corrupt.
I also have tunes from Eric but use Matts as my DD. His shift a lot smoother and I get better MPG.

I heard others complain they had corrupt files too. I've only used the ones specific to my trucks strategy VXCF4's. I've tried them all except for racing high horsepower sled tunes. Unfortunately with free stuff you may run into problems from time to time.
