What is the STC upgrade ?

Seen this in several posts so what is it and whats the benefits of doing it.

the stock fitting is a two piece design that is prone to fail. when it does no oil makes it to your injectors. if it fails while your driving its like turning the truck off, and its not a roadside repair.

the updated fitting is a one piece design, haven't heard of any of them failing so far.

So where do I get one of these and how much do they cost. Also how hard is it in install.

this only applies to '05-07, i bought mine off ebay but i think one of the sponsors sell them as well. directions for install are in my sig.

if you can turn a wrench you can install the fitting. its just time consuming to get to since it requires turbo removal.
