Is there a 5w40 oil that doesnt cost an arm and leg?
Been reading on here about running a thinner oil in the winter in the 6.0. Seems there a few benifits from it, so Im gonna try it....Only problem, all I can find in 5w40 is synthetic @ around 23 to 25 buck a gallon. Does anyone know of a 5w40 dino oil?
If not, will 10w40 rotella be any better than the 15w40 Ive ran for years??? Would 5w30 dino not be too thin?? One more question, If I get some rev-x and use it with the 15w40 will it help, or does it need to be run with some thinner oil???? Or, just pay the high dollar for the 5w40 synthetic and forget the rev-x?? ![]() I know its alot, but thanks in advance fellas.

You can get Rotella T5 10w-30 semi synthetic at Walmart for about $11.50 a gallon right now. It's diesel rated oil.
