My Edge CTS Monitor came today!

Install was literally a few minutes. Pop off the side of the dash surround and pop off this cover to run the cable to the OBD port and plug it in.

While I was installing the cable I let the pod dry after a coat of primer and two coats of paint.

Now after I got the pod installed, the adapter installed and all put together I wasnt happy. The pod is pretty loose on the dash with the double sided sticky tape. Instructions were easy to follow, just didnt care for the fitment. The pod more or less pointed straight back and I felt like I had to tilt my head sideways to see it. So I ditched the pod and went with the windshield mount. At least it points directly at me as I sit in the drivers seat. All in all I love it and am happy with my purchase. You can set gauge colors and alert parameters. The good thing is my EOT and ECT's were within 7 degrees of each other! That makes me happy. Anyway, I dont think you can go wrong with this unit. I love the look.

Mine should show up late this week or next week. Hey, did yu think about mounting it in you small glove box. Thats my plan, then I can close it up when I dont want others to see what looks like something worth breakin in and stealing.

No I didn't think of that. I will be looking to do something different soon. That suction cup mount is huge, but I bet you could hook a boat to it. Its very strong.

How many miles do you have on your truck? Did you do a coolant flush before the installation of the CTS? Which of the two temps tends to read higher?

I am right at 92k and I have not done a coolant flush yet. That is this month. I also need to install a coolant filter and change my fuel pressure spring for nothing other than my own piece of mind. Edit, sorry. Engine coolant was higher just running around the block.

I did not have the same experience -- mine is very, very solid. And then the grab handle also helps hold it in place as well.

The issue might be that it's actually not double sided sticky tape, it's velcro. It's not like normal velcro either, it's like industrial velcro -- you can push it together past just where it holds together and it locks into itself and holds really well. Might be worth another look, if you push the velcro together it is actually sort of difficult to get apart because it holds so well.

As for the angle -- I didn't notice anything wrong with mine, and I've had it for a little while now so I'm definitely used to it.

I will take another look. I thought it would be more "turned" towards the driver. Thank you for the information.
