Edge A2 monitor ?'s

I'm wanting to check my ECT & EOT. My question is I have a friend that has an Edge A2 tuner/monitor/gps. Should I be able to hook this up to my truck without downloading a program and just use it to monitor these temps. My truck is an 05 and the truck he had it on was an 05.

I went onto the edgeproducts web site and the A2 appears to function like the evolution/insight as far as monitoring goes. Your 05 will show the EOT/ECT. You may want to go to Edges site and send them a message inquiry. I just installed the Edge CS w/ EGT probe in my 05 and love it. Have you thought about getting the CS or CTS as they'll work great on your truck.
