Elite Diesel tunes... ??

Anyone heard of Elite Diesel or ever used Tadds tunes from Elite Diesel? The local diesel performance shop here in Charleston recommends them and just curious of anyones experience w them. Their EGR delete kit looks nice, and they have 5 custom tunes to choose from...

There tunes are bad, pervious were a lil smokey back in the day. But there Tow file was good. Dont really hear much about there tuning lately. Since they have alot of other projects. The hot tickets are Eric or Matt. Which solely thats what they focus on.

Thanks. Yea, i plan on going w Matt or Eric but was just curious since they were recommended... I had just never heard of them before the guy mentioned them to me. I assume that elite diesel is their dealer, and so of course he was recommending them and saying they were "hands down the best tuners of the 6.0."

Hands down, I wouldnt Agree. There probably alot more trucks out there by Eric to be honest. I havent heard much about Elite's tunes in a long time. I remember the Days when there was only Eric, Tadd, Vivian, Doug. yrs ago. Eric's tuning is the only 1000hp 6.0 out there just a thought lol

Thanks for the props. I remember when it was just me, and then Tadd(Rocky Mountain Diesel...I believe). Darn, I'm getting old.

Tadd's business has pulled him in the direction of building parts, and great parts at that.

The only good thing I've heard about Elite's tuning, is that they can dial in high altitudes. I've heard they work best at high altitudes.

Hell Eric, that was only like 5 or 6 years ago...

I agree though, the whole industry has moved at an amazing pace!

Yes, about 7 hears ago. I was in my 20's then, really, really late 20's. It feels like a long time ago.

I like all tunes that ive tried from Elite and Eric. Tuners like Eric matt and so on are at sea level for most part. The tunes will run completely different. I love the way Erics runs but it is a little hot up here in Denver. Tadd has altitude tuning dialed in like said before and I havent heard anyone that can get a truck to run faster and cooler at high altitude than him. That being said I switch between Erics tunes and Tadds all the time. I would say your going to be happy any way you go.
