spartan hybrid race ... run it or no ?

hey ! i was just wondering if anyone here is running the hybrid race tune from the spartan archive ? i have been running the extreme street from eric and loved it then i loaded the hybrid race file and drove it for about 10 min and it seemed alot quicker from a stop and the shifts even seemed quicker or firmer whatever . i know it hasnt finished learning yet and was just wondering if its ok on stock headbolts ? any info would be great , thanx

i run it on my 03 but i'm changing to a safer tune until i get gauges, but i can say it'll break the tires loose at 25 MPH on an otherwise stock truck

I think the high you want to go with stick bolts is Matt's ASE. Back when I ran them that is as high as I went. I ran hybrid race at the track a few times tho.

The only thing better on the Spartan's tunes is the throttle response. Mileage is awful, and it didn't feel near as fast at WOT. It also had very odd shift patterns.

agree 100% throttle response is nice, but Eric's are better tunes.

i'll stick with Eric's then. His tunes on my truck are spot on. Ford should hire him to tune the ECU's from the factory. The sloppy oem shifts and engine tunes are horrid compared to Eric.

Hey 06Powerstroke, what are your 1/8th mile ET and mph?
