Where's the engine block heater
I have purchased a used 2007 F-350. Do all diesels come with the engine block heaters? I've looked everywhere around the front grill.

they dont all come like that after 04 only the ones ordered with it have it but they all have the heater element above the starter, but you can go to ford and pick one up for around 60 bucks

My 07 did not come with one either, I just had my friend at the dealership put one on while they were doing some warranty stuff, I feel better now about the coming cold weather. I have never had problems with mine starting though, even down to -10 in the U.P

Look behind the tow eye on the passenger side. Mine is zip tied there and you can't see it. You have to reach behind it to feel it..

For some reason I thought all of them came with the heater, but you had to order the plug and cable as an option. Mine was also just behind the right tow hook.

I have an 05 and the heater was installed but the cord was not. I went to ford and got a price of 135 bucks! so i came on here and they told me to goto an international dealer......$19.95 thank you!

Mine didn't come a cord either. Found one at Ford for $115. Then called the local International Dealer and out the door for $14.95. They are out there with a little research.
