I wouldnt use it, but it might be worth getting for a small HP increase. *IF* it was very cheap.
A custom tuned SCT will out perform any other programmer out there. |

1805
My wife bought me the SC Tirepaq last year for Christmas. I only wanted to adjust my speedometer for larger tires after my leveling kit. Now this is MY situation...(1)I know that a SCT is superior and I'll eventually get one with custom tunes (2)I actually bought my truck to tow a 11,000lb camper (3)I have no desire nor have I ever raced a duracrap or 18 year old kid in a honda (4) I constantly monitor my gauges and the routine upkeep of this very large investment. Now with that being said I checked into upgrading my Tirepaq to a 1805 and was actually qouted the wrong price from a SC tech. SC honored the qouted price with no drama and I had a very good experience with there customer service. Am I smoking the tires from a rolling stop, no....am I getting better MPG with the added bonus of more HP, yes. It works for me for now with my situation.

The 1805 is the older model Superchips as it was replaced by the 1855. They will work fine for moderate tuning. As Grayson said, if you want to really tune your truck go with SCT. I switched from the 1855 and haven't looked back.
