Opinion needed on Edge Insight CTS Monitor

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on the Edge CTS. I like the functionality of the touch screen. It monitors Boost, Engine Coolant, Engine Oil, Trans fluid temp, Intake air temp, Load, Barameteric pressure, Battery voltage. There is an expansion pack coming out later for fuel pressure and I purchase the EGT expansion now. For those that have them for a monitor, how do you like it? I like the looks compared to a 4 gauge pillar pod and I like the fact that it just plugs into the vehicle diagonstic port. Any pitfalls or things I should know? I dont have any desire at this time to tune my truck, I just want to keep track of the engine vitals to detect problems before they get expensive.

The Edge CTS was the first thing I bought for my vehicle. It's great addition and a must to monitor ECT, EOT, Trans Temp. and EGT and even 4 more vehicle functions all at once. I bought the mounting pod and it looks almost factory. Great addition for the money.

Pretty sure it dims automatically. Not positive on that.
