SCT Performance Tune

I've noticed while running my SCT canned performance tune, when i floor it to hot rod a little my boost will hit the normal 28PSI then drop back down to about 22PSI or so even though i'm still fully in it. Truck is an 05 6 speed. I'm pretty sure my clutch is slipping too, could this cause the loss in boost? Or is it just how the program runs and im a ? Thanks for the help!

My truck does the same thing....I think its probably more of a resistance thing than a mechanical problem.

Every single EGR delete I have ever installed or worked with does this on the stock style tunes, alwill-with your custom tune it still does this?

That's normal for WOT runs. If you want to see how much boost it will build roll into the throttle in 6th but don't go to the floor with it, only about 3/4 or a little more. It should build to about 28-30 psi.

I'd rather go faster than build more boost, What would be better for racing a roll on the throttle to 3/4th or WOT?
