I have a 2004 f250 fx4 with erics extreme street tune loaded and was wondering if it would be too much for winter driving in ontario canada . i just wanna know if i'll be able to move with extreme street or will i just spin all day. by the way this tune is sweet and i love shockin riceburners

I have never tried X-street in winter but I am running SRL right now and it seems to work just fine. I dont know how the two compare though.
You probably will have to decide that one yourself....if you feel comfortable driving with it then use it, if you dont then detune a bit. |

i ran my xtreme street all winter last year and never had problems, it was icy, snowy and very cold all winter and i never had any issues. just use your head driving

^^^^ I agree, that's a big part of it.
I usually switch to a tow tune in the winter, just because I wouldn't be going anywhere fast even if I wanted to and it's just a little easier to keep under control. That being said, I've driven on snowy, icy roads with SRL, Xrace, Looney and a few others......... drive it with a litle common sense and you'll be fine. |
