cold AIR INTAKE QUESTION

Hi there i am looking for a cold air intake for my 6 liter 03 f350. I have the 4 inch exhaust from the turbo back and the zoodad mod and it whistles like crazy. if i went with a cold air intake will the truck whistel more and will you get that sound out of the cold air intake like you would on a gas jobby. What is a better intake to go with?? a plastic tube or metal?? i want to make it as loud as possible and make that turbo screem even loader. Will a cold air make it louder?????????

I have the AFE and yes it will be louder. Im thinking of going back to the stock intake. But i do pull a large trailer and it gets really loud.

You don't gain whistle, it's more like intake suction but only at idle.

A stock air cleaner is good for up to 500hp, also a stock air filter will out filter ANY aftermarket filter. The compressor wheel spins super fast, so any speck of dust, dirt, or debris will and can destroy the compressor wheel over time.
