First Coast Diesel Performance EGR Delete kit

What's up? I search the site for some information but had no luck. I wanna get some feedback on the install and if it is worth it. And if I do go this way with the full egr delete kit while i have the motor open should I do studs while I am at it? I am a mechanically inclined but I never ripped open a motor and am quite nervous too. I have friends that could help. I appreciate the help and if there are threads on this please point me in the right direction thanks

First coast EGR deletes are top notch from what I have read. They gave up their sponsorship here so a lot of the threads went away.

Check out this post. DIY--Head Stud Install Get a real good manual. Success is in the details. Hope you don't have any emmisions inspection to worry about in your State. If you do go with the Bullet Proof Diesel EGR Cooler. It is about half the price of the delete your looking at. It is better than trying to find a mechanic that will pass you on an inspection. I hope this info helps.

first coast does all the work on my truck and i live in ohio if that tells you anything... i drive to florida for them to work on it... their egr delete is top notch and they do great work.....

Nice. when you got your egr delete, did you also get your studs done?

Thanks for the link. I live in PA and they have no emissions here. lol But I really don't wanna get to crazy in the modification, is the Bullet proof diesel egr cooler a band-aid or a permeant fix on basically stock truck?

No i didnt get studs done at the time... just made a weekend swing down there... they did the egr delete. replaced oil cooler and new oil screen.... If i would have had a bit more coin and time i would have done studs also... the quality of their deletes cant be touched.... im not saying anyone elses kits arent any good but after seeing a few other delete kits around... by far none touch the quality of first coast.

It is a fix. They have a great part they are selling. Check out their site. They have done there research and they stand by their product. When I called to order I talked to the president himself. I have their EGR and OIL cooler in my truck and I have nothing to worry about now.

Ditto.. Adam is a stand up guy as a business man and a person... have drove him insane on more then one occasion and he as patient enough to listem to me and help me out whenever he could with anything i needed.

Adam gave it up by choice. Personally I was sorry to see them go. I'm sure a lot of other people would tell you the same.
