Intake Elbow? Worth It?

I came across a performance intake elbow (dont know the offical name for it) for the 6.0 and was wondering if it was worth it to purchase one. It claims that it increased the air flow up to 40% from stock and does not transfer heat near as much as the OEM. I was wondering if you get any performace gain from it? It is the elbow that connects the intercooler pipe on to the engine. So what do yall think?

There is no performance gains with an aftermarket elbow, the intake manifold and intake ports for the heads are too restictive. The only thing you gain is, a drilled and tapped elbow for power adders, but even then you can tap the stock elbow for power adders.

i saw no difference. made it easy to hook up the boost guage though and it looks purdy lol

Use the $$ on something else that will have more of an effect on the truck.

I agree with the other feedback provided. Only gain you'll get is bling and a tapped port for a sending unit.
