alright guys, here's the deal. im looking for a little more power without breaking the bank (like less than a grand). i have been toying with the idea of nitrous but idk. Im looking for power adders without having to drop some serious cash on turbo, injectors, etc etc. thoughts?

yea im pretty much tapped out after the chunk of cash i spent on the studs and egr delete. so anything around the $500 range is about all i can spend.

haha yea, unfortunately all the mods in my sig took all of my $$$$$ . I guess im just gonna have to start saving. The next big chunk will probably be spent on an airdog. I didnt know if anyone knew of a cheap(like anything is cheap with these trucks) way of squeezing out a little more power.

LOTS OF STICKERS,LIKE RICER!! Stickers add 20hp per sticker!!

Before you start adding more power, you should really consider more gauges or a Edge CS/CTS to monitor your fuel pressure,EOT,and ECT. If you think about it, what good is adding that power if you can't monitor what the motor is doing.

duly noted sir, i have been wanting to get an edge cts, but dont wanna get rid of the guages i already have. anyone running this type of setup?

i would get a fuel pressure gauge and get the upgraded fuel spring kit so you can consistently run good pressure will kinda eliminate need for an air dog till needed later on down the food chain of hp

Here's one that will give you more felt power and save you money (but you won't like it).

Force = mass X acceleration

Force put to pavement = Torque at rear wheel / (0.5 X tire height)

Trade those 18" with 35" for some stock wheels and tires + cash and increase you acceleration.

Told you that you wouldn't like it, of course your top speed and trap times are likely to decrease.

the only thing for $500 that you are going to feel a difference is going to be a use set of aftermarket injectors and selling your stock ones for the right price. (risky but if you send them to Ryan Casserly all will be fine) or spray. But spray is really only something you want to use on the track. Everyday would be very expensive.
