Tuner suggestion

I was about to order the SCT X3 tuner with Innovative's tunes until a buddy of mine told me about sniper tuning. I looked up a some information about them and sounds like a hell of a tuner if you know what your doing. Any input on this type of tuner.

Honestly I have heard a little about sniper tuning but not alot. I would rather go with something that has been shown to work consistently.

You answered your own question. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!! If you set too high of timing, fuel, ect you could damage your motor. I don't think you want to play mad siencentist with such an expensive motor. Stick with the SCT with customs tunes.

As Lilpooh points out above, you need to know what you are doing. It is no longer Sniper. They are Delta Force now. They have a pretty decent product but not too many tuners support it so if you go that route your options for tunes will be almost zilch. Unless you do know what you're doing or have someone to work with you that does I would stick with SCT.

You can also get the pro racer package from SCT and write your own SCT tunes.

I have to agree with Lilpooh. Innovative writes some great tunes for the 6.0. There is also DPTuners. I've ridden in trucks with their tunes and they are equal to Innovative using me butt-o-meter. Keith
