Gauges... Which ones and where

I am starting to research gauges for the truck. I know i am going to use Auto Meter but where to mount them and hooking them up is where my questions lie. Any feedback will be appreciated!!

Most common is on the A pillar. Overhead is an option though (above the rearview mirror), as is under the dash, although I don't think they make an under dash pod for 05' and up.

Hooking them up.......... put in sensors, run wires, mount amp boxes, more wires, mount gauges.

It's really quite easy. A good day project. I did my 4 Isspro EV2's in about 5 hours, start to finish, with no help (other than that from my beer's )

I had the z-series put in my truck because i didnt have the time to put them on. I went with the z-series and green light so it would have the same color scheme as the rest of my truck.

Edge Insight is better are more practical than a-pillars these days, but I love the look of them in the a-pillar. Maybe thats why I have both

What is the order of importance. I hate the stock Insterment cluster they are just dummy gauges that dont tell you anything till it is to late. The only ones in there I trust is the tach and fuel gauge maybe the ECT. I am looking to eventully monitor EGT, EOP, EOT, ECT, Trans Temp and Boost

I am going with an SCT tuner so having another $400 tuner just to monitor does not seem practical. I also like the look of pillar gauges i am kinda an analog guy keep it simple
