Will Edge CS clear EGR delete code?

I'm putting an egr delete kit on and it's an 05 so I'm expecting a CEL. I'm leaving the valve in as I've heard this works sometimes. I cleared a water in fuel code with the CS so I was wondering about this code. I figure if I can clear it, it will just come right back on because the situation of no flow still exists. Still hoping for no CEL, and I know the SCT will take care of it but not ready for that step yet.

I have an edge evo CTS and there is no option to block the CEL or DTC's from coming back with the 05. I don't get any DTC's on my 04. Everything I have seen on the various forums points towards you needing an SCT.
