6.0L Question/Problem

So, for this winters project will be in the motor... Here are the plans...

ARP Head Studs,
Sinister EGR Delete
Heads Decked
Black Onyx Gaskets
New Oil Cooler
Coolant Filter Kit

What else should I do?

Also, little problem came up this week. Truck started to leak alot of oil. Seems to be coming from above the trans on back side of motor. My guess is turbo. But I wanted to hear others opinion and what else I should look for when I start tearing into the truck.

Thanks guys,

Pigg

I see your truck is an '04. If it's an early '04, then your oil leak might be the ICP.

They do tend to go bad and sometimes leak. Much easier to get to from the bottom too, especially on a lifted truck.

Flush the engine good and switch it to a Cat EC-1 rated ELC coolant (red). Get that Ford Gold crap out of there if you haven't already.
