EGR Delete...Anything Else?

Getting ready to do the EGR delete in my driveway. The kit is from a manufacturer that rhymes with "Minister". Any other mods or ideas I should do while I have all of those parts out? Any advice? I did read several of the write ups and threads from others that have done it...just looking for anything extra that those threads did not cover.

Hard to say without knowing more about your truck and what shape your oil cooler in? Send the intake to a machine shop and have it tanked and cleaned out. Rebuild the oil cooler. Replace the STC fitting and dummy plugs. Replace the HPOP reservoir screen. Flush the cooling system and change to ELC coolant.

Oil cooler was replaced last year. I am good to go with tuner, gauges, exhaust, zoodad and air intake. I do not have head studs. Flushed coolant 6 months ago.

But did you change it to ELC and get rid of the Ford Gold crap? Nice looking truck by the way.

I averaged a year out of a oil cooler with my 05... so I wouldn't assume it is good
