I got $6000 and need parts

So my buddy is selling his bike and he should get around 7g's for it and wants to drop about 6g's of it into his 06' 6.0 hes knew to the diesel world and want some advice on what kinda setup he should run. just had studs put in and has intake, exhaust and leveling kit. (EDIT: and it has an egr delete)

things he wants to get:

single black stack
turbo
injectors
fuel pump
livewire

any suggestions on other parts and what brands and who to get them from. tryin to get everything from the same dealer just to make things easier

EGR delete and a bullet proof oil cooler would be good investments!

I too would suggest fixing known problem points before dropping sticks and a turbo in.

so;
Studs are done
EGR delete or BP set up
oil cooler rebuild or BP set up
flush coolant system and replace with ELC
Add coolant filter
Replace HPOP STC fitting
upgrage Turbo drain line

That will make the engine ready for almost anything.

Now, he should have a little coin left for his exhaust, gauges, tuner, maybe an upgraded fuel system.... I think he may have to sell something else to move onto fuel, injectors, turbo.......

I hope he took care of the egr delete and oil cooler ,stc fitting and dummy plugs, HPOP screen, etc when he did the head gasket and studs. If not the above list makes some sense.

I would recommend the Edge Insight and an SCT X3 instead of the Livewire. The Livewire is too bulky and the Insight is much easier to mount and live with on a daily basis.

If he has money after those things are taken care of he should only consider getting injectors from Ryan Casserly at FFD and then pick up a Powermax GT3788VA turbo to go with it. With 190cc sticks that should get him into the 550hp range with ease.

This may be a dumb question, I know what the STC fitting is but what are the "dummy plugs", getting ready to pull my motor so gathering up parts as well.

-4" exhaust, or 3.5" down pipe to 4" or 5"
