egr problem
i bought my truck and the original owner put on arp head studs and egr delete. but the seller said they thought they took off the egr delete because the truck was dumping way to much fuel into the engine or whatever but it turned out the computer or whatever that controls the fuel was bad. so i had the sinister egr delete setting here ready to put on then i got lookin at the truck and i think the egr delete is still on. i think this cause the stock up pipe has that side tube on it cut off so i cant see how the egr would work with it cut off. How can i figure out for sure if the egr delete is still on the truck or not? remember the egr delete was put on years ago so it may not be like the newer ones

Does it look like the picture in this link?
EGR Cooler..How do I know if mine is deleted? |

that pic is useful, as well as this one.....
this plate is what remove the egr valve.... if the up pipe is plugged off or doesnt have the port for the EGR cooler than my guess is that it 100% still is deleted

Is your EGR valve still in? It is right by the intake elbow to the right of the alternator as you are looking into the engine compartment. The egr cooler will be running front to back along the passenger side of the intake if it is there. If these things are not there you are deleted.

yes my picture shows the blocker plate/removal of the egr valve, its right in between the intake horn and the alternator.

Yeah, I could see that. I meant Dieselpower8.
