Two Questions: Fuel & Boost
First question is:
Anyone have any weird issues when doing the BB fuel spring mod? I did this and my fuel pressure came up to constant 65 but now unless the truck is fully warmed ( and i mean fully warm) she seems to like ping/det or that of over fueling and you can see when it does this puffs of black smoke out the back. Should i have my tune adjusted? Also what boost are you guys running on your tunes? Here is mine rolling down the hwy with a quick roll on in 5th. 34psi. ![]()

I've never had the ping from the raised FP but I could see 36 psi on my race tune...
|

I've never seen more than 31psi out of my 03 turbo.

i saw 34lbs just last week. i was on the freeway with a terrible headwind. truck got bogged way down and when i romped on it to get it to downshift the boost jumped to 34lbs before it downshifted for me

So are these sustained boost pressures or just spikes? I can get mine to spike above 30psi for a moment, but that's not the actual number.

im 5th mine will hold this for a while till around 100+ then the revs and engine is sucking in more and it will taper down. Ive spiked 38psi but will only hold around 28 in lower gears, just runs through them too fast
