SCT and branch tube fitting
Is it possible that running a SCT conservative tune could have been the problem that caused the Branch tube fitting/quick disconnect/HPOS discharge fitting to break? I'm not 100% sure what it's actually called.

No, a SCT wouldn't cause that failure. And you're thinking of the branch tube and STC (Snap To Connect) fitting tied to the HPOP (High Pressure Oil Pump).

No way, that fitting has been revised 3 times. It is prone to breakage. The updated one piece STC takes care of that.
