juice platinum issues

iv'e got an 06 six speed and had the juice platinum on it. i sold it less than an hour ago to a guy with an 03 6.0 automatic and he called me back saying that the truck surged the whole way home like it did when his ficm went out a few months back. anybody else have these issues??? the product manual said it was for an 03-07 6.0 and the install was done just like the manual showed. any feedback would be good thanks... oh yeah it worked fine on my truck earlier that day (took it off mine 30 min before selling it)

Did he have the trans learning on?
He could have done a poor job when he put it on.
