Sct X3 problem

I just got a new x3 and it doesn't have any canned tunes on it, am I needing to go to the website first or what, I don't know what I'm needing to do I never had this problem with my x2

X3 doesnt have canned tunes. SF3 does. you need to go to Innovative Diesel or Gearhead Performance or a similar site to get custom tunes as the X3 only allows custom tunes. I made the same mistake.

of if your strategy is old enough here are some free ones from spartan a few years ago Index of /~amon/tunes

The way to get the strategy off the device is go to Vehicle Info, then it will say Read, Clear DTCs and then Vehicle Info. Select Vehicle info and turn key on and it will have your VIN Number, press select and then your strategy will appear. Who did you buy your X3 device from?

You really want custom tunes anyway. Eric or Matt (Gearhead Matt) will give you tune that put an ear to ear smile on your face. You won't believe your truck could run like that.

Custom tunes will really wake up the truck and you will feel a big difference from stock to tuned.
