SCT- possible problem or what????

so since i have had my sct i have been running on street. playing it conservative with head gaskets and such. well i switched it to performance a couple days ago because i was thinking im racing my truck down at my local dragstrip and wanted MORE POWER. well after the tranny relearn i got into it a few times and i dont feel anymore power, maybe even less after switching. my shifts feel funny and my goal is not to smoke all the time but comparing from a hard take off from street to performance. it smoked less on performance i think but maybe im dreaming.

so basically what im asking is am i supposed to have a noticeable difference between street and performance and im just having problems or are both the street and perf canned tunes both garbage and i should go custom.

im 18(almost.. my birthday is the 14th...2 more days but whos counting)
and i have my own lawncare business and its getting cold in ohio so no more grass to cut. i have to wait till snow and i didnt want to dip into my head stud job fund just in case they dont cover it under warranty

Do you have custom or canned tunes?

these are the canned street and performance. i cant tell a differency between the two at all. thought i would at least get a little more power. i just didnt want to have to get custom tunes because of cash and my head studs but if i just get a mild tune. nothing too extreme

Get custom tunes. Its a world of difference

Custom tunes can be had for $50-80 bucks. There not that expensive.

never had any other programmer.

and i have bad shifts sometimes. any way to adjust shifts so they are smoother. the rough shifts are every once in a while but enough to annoy me

Ok, you are able to adjust the Trans shift firmness by %. What i recommend is give us a call so we can get the stock and flash file off the device to check out the files and also walk you through adjusting the shift firmness
