Custom tunes in SCT touch screen

Is there a digital gauge like an Edge CTS that can be loaded with custom tunes for a 6.0 so that you have it all in one. Or if you want custom tunes and a digital gauge are you stuck with a Insight and an SCT. I don't mean stuck in a bad way but are you pretty much held to having two seperate units.

The SCT Livewire will do what you want but people have a heck of a time figuring out where to put it. It's a cumbersome solution IMHO.

Good to know, I haven't read about the Livewire I was reading about the touch screen extreme which didn't seem to be able to do it. The size isn't too much of a concern because I wast looking at installing the CTS in the compartment under my upfitter switches that way I can flip it out and it is hidden when parked. They appear to be the same size.

Two questions on the livewire though. 1. Can I plug it in and have it run off the truck power thru the OBDII or is it only battery and 2. Does it have EGT pyro capability?

Do you think the live wire is a good tool, or would I be better off with the insight CTS and an X3. I don't know how the livewire stacks up to the insight in it's capabilities.

I can't answer any more than I've said about the Livewire, I'm just going by a number of dissatisfied owners. My own recommendation is the X3 and an Insight. From what I understand there will soon be additional functionality added to the CTS so you can add fuel pressure, oil pressure and what not. You're not going to get that with a Livewire or TouchScreen.

Well I guess I would have to agree with you. The insight/X3 seems to be a proven combo. Just wonderin if there was a proven all-in-one.
