Garrett Powrmaxx or Elite VGT-SR
looking to upgrade my turbo on my 07 6.0 its my daily driver. i dont pull at all and i want to continue running stock injectors which turbo do you think would be best? thanks

Why would you want to upgrade it under these circumstances?
If your not pulling AND your going to keep your stock injectors, throwing a grand or more away isn't going to do that MUCH good
|

I plan on upgrading to some elite stage 1 or stage 2 injectors in a month or so

I will have the stock injectors running on it for maybe a month or so then I'm swapping them.

I do plan on that I said I want to purchase the turbo first and then I'm going to purchase the injectors about a month after I'm just waiting on the funds for the injectors

You're stock turbo should be good with stage1s..
And if you go stage2s then you're going to have to get a turbo and oil system upgrades.. So your cost ratio for stage1 vs. stage2 is about 1:3.. lol |

To answer the original question since the thread went off the reservation...
![]() Garrett powermax over the elite turbo any day. Powermax is a brand new factory modified unit. The VGT-SR is a stock sized replacement turbo that is remanufactured. |
