SCT 3015 just installed!

Hey guys, just installed my new SCT. I loaded up the street tune and it is night and day from stock. Got a chance to take a quick ride in it, and wow. It feels like a whole new beast, and i am just on the canned street tune. Transmission feels so much better than stock. I'm going to drive street for awhile until i switch it up to the performance tune to see how it compares. I am pretty much stock, do you think this would be ok? I do have my insight to monitor just in case.

i have a stright pipe (stock 3 1/2") and gauges and the performance tune runs great for me you will love it trust me, there will be more smoke when you punch it from a dead stop but it is awsome!!! and thats all i have

I've got one of those sitting in the floor beside me right now. Trying to make sure I break the new short block in right (500 miles on it as of today) before installing the new software. I can't wait!

825 did you run street before the performance tune? 046L when ur trucks broken in, your gonna love it!

Good to hear it.. I'm like a kid 2 days before Christmas - I know I have to wait, but I'm itchin' to roll on to I-95 next to a drop-top ricer down here in South FLA and put it on 'em!

Do you feel like the trans locks up harder or just more "at the right place"?

no i never ran the street (this wasent my tuner) it was my buddys he got it and ran street right when he got it then about 5-10minutes later he put it up on performance and then a month ago he let me run his sct for about a week until i can get one and i ran it straight on performance and it was great!!

The canned tunes don't compare to Eric's Xtreme tunes or Matt's SRL. They make the canned tunes feel like stock. Get you some.

046L the transmission feels like it shifts a little bit harder than stock, but feels great. To me it feels like it shifts a little more earlier. Greensvt i am definately getting custom tunes from either erick or matt sometime in the near future, but i am going to hold off until i get more mods done to my truck. Just so I can justify the tuning costs, and make it worth while.

lilpooh, i just used the street canned tune. I'm not sure what you mean by revs per mile. Was that something I should have done?
