Considering stacking...

The mods on my truck are in my signature. Right now I'm considering stacking using the SCT. I've heard nothing but good about them and I think I might be ready to make the leap... I would like to use my PDA for monitoring my gauges... Is that possible? I wouldn't put the Six-Gun on any other levels besides 1...

My truck is not a race truck by any means, I needed some extra power for towing my camper and snowmobiles. My setup has been very good to me but from what I've been told the SCT helps your transmission and my Banks does not.

Anybody else ever used this setup? A guy from RCD used the setup and he said it works great but I need more than one persons "okay".

I would only keep the banks stuff on it as gauges if you can put the truck back to 100% STOCK, before the SCT program gets loaded.

I know it can be done with edge products, not sure about banks

v8Stroker-- Are you using any custom tow tunes, or is it the canned tunes?

x2...

Sell the banks stuff on ebay and buy a SCT with custom tunes(which Yes it reprograms the tranny as well as the ECU)...

Then get a Edge insight for gauges and you will be set...from your sig it looks like you pretty much have all the other fixes except for a coolant filter.

I don't want to sell the PDA, I've seen the edge monitor and I'm not a fan of it. I also don't like the side mount pillar gauges...

You may want to contact SCT, The banks level 1 is the stock setting, I don't know if that would interfear with the SCT tuning. Your just looking into using the PDA for gauges while running the SCT. Correct?

Stacking? You're driving a ford, not a dodge.
And I know ppl have already said it, but I agree with selling the banks trash and
getting an edge or some other monitor. I didn't like the old Edges either but the new ones look awwwwesome.
Take a gander at this if you want.

Edge CS install. AWESOME
