Quick SCT question

Quick question as I am very new to all of this and would hate to mess something up. I just recieved my custom tunes and got them onto my SCT and am going to go put them on the truck, when I load a custom tune does it automatically save what is on there as the stock setting or do I have to do something to save that before downloading the tune. Sorry for the stupid question I would just hate to lose the "stock" tune.

Go ahead man, you'll love it.

Oh and BTW, don't even check your fuel mileage this time around, you won't want to know after all the playing you're about to do.

It would also be a good idea to save your stock file to your PC. It's rare, but sometimes the SCT will loose your stock file. It's also a good idea to save a copy of your custom tunes and stock file to a flash drive, just in case your PC gets fried or virus. Here is the link to the sticky on how to save your stock file. How To Save Your Stock File With An SCT
