Air dog or Fass??

Im wanting to put a fuel system on my 05 f350 to by pass both fuel fiters, which one is the best or is it just personal preference?

I would recommend an Airdog II DF165. It eliminates the OEM pump and both filters and will supply all the fuel necessary for any further upgrades you may choose down the road.

I would vote for AD2, I haven't had any complaints from my customers.

We are running a FASS setup on our build. I choose them purely based off the customer service I recieved over the phone. From talking with both, FASS was much nicer to talk to on the phone and was more helpfull with our custom situation. On the forums you will get both positive and negative reviews from both companies.

I have the AirDog2 and other than it being a little noisey the fuel pressure does not move from where you set it. At idle or full throttle it performs perfect.

Our FASS is pretty loud aswell. Prob something to do with the starter motor they use to run these things, lol

HAHA--that's a joke. Wait until it locks up from crap in the fuel that goes through their water separator and you have to send it to THEM for cleaning to maintain your warranty. After two or three bills for about $160 each plus shipping I got an Airdog II and have had no problems compared to the FASS. I also don't have a fuel pressure drop like I constantly had with the FASS and the exact same fuel system for both. FASS can KISS MY AZZ.

Dunno man, hope I dont have that kinda trouble with it. Did you have the fass filters or the Donaldson/Fleetguard ones? They gave me the choice of either setup and said the later was the better one so thats what we went with.

There are lots and lots of threads about dying FASS pumps. That's why I went with the Airdog II.
