edge insight etg doesnt work

i have an edge isight and i jusdt installed the egt pyrometer and plugged it in and the screen says N/A when truck is running. has any one experienced this and how did you fix it?

go through the adjustment menu again and select EGT again. Just like you did the first time. I had to go back and repeat it on all my screens once I got the probe.

i did that a few times. i tried unplugging both the probe and the obd2 port and still nothing. i called edge and they said if that doesnt do it i have to buy a new probe. and id rather not spend to 100 bucks on something i allready have

Try blowing the dust out of the plug for the probe, and make sure you have it plugged in the right way, where the clip attaches. It's very easy to plug it in the wrong way. Mine stopped working while driving and blew out the dust and it worked again.

mine didnt work the first time i started it too, i unplugged the gauge, turned the key off, waited a few minutes, plugged it back in, and went to the selection menu and hit egt and it came up. hope you get it fixed. did you buy it new from edge? if so and they want you to buy another probe, i suggest driving your truck through the front door of edge HQ and demanding some answers cuz thats ridiculous

thanks for the replys guys, i couldnt get it to work and my buddy had one frome his old 6.0 he gave me and it worked fine. so i guess it was just a bad probe
