SWAMPS FICM ???

I am going to order one tomorrow, just wanted some advice on what to get 48v or 58v. Has anyone been running one for good amount of time ? Any problems? I want to get the 58v, but dont know if there is a reliability issue....
Any feedback would be appreciated.

When I got my 48v back in May, Johnathan told me if I was gonna tow heavy not to get the 58v, due to the excessive heat the 58v can make with a load on. My truck weighs #8240 with me in it, and my 5th wheel weighs about #7000. He recommended for me to get the 48v.

The extra volts cause extra heat in the ficm when the truck is working harder from towing heavy.

I tow a 8800# boat all summer, and a dump trailer now and then, so i guess the 48v, if overheating is a problem...
When i called them yesterday they never said anything about problems towing(one would asume we all tow something heavy, 1ton truck with diesel....).They told me i would get 40 more hp out of 58v

I think so. I would probably go with PHP's programming which Swamps can do in their shop. I hear it is real nice.

Ive got the 58v swamps ficm with innovatives moderate tune on it and I ran it for a little while with just my sct and i did notice a power gain and it was deff quicker off the line but most of all i picked up 2 miles to the gallon off it. I did notice it starts easier to , my truck used to load up bad first thing in the mornning. I also talked to PHP cause i was going to have them tune it and I told them i was doing it for HP gain and they actualy recomended i get innovative to tune it, so thats who i went with.
