Long Crank after Innovative Xtreme Street

Okay so I loaded up the Xtreme Street this morning, and it took forever to start, like 5-6 seconds of cranking time, a lot longer than usual. It will usually fire right after cranking.

It's got a new FICM, 8 month old batteries, and it starts fine on the stock tune.


P.S. My old Xtreme Race tune started quick, and also started really smooth. The engine also sounded a lot quieter?

Call Eric and let him know what is going on. He'll fix it. Every truck is a little different.

I have it pulling fuel on startup for cold starts and it has the latest adjustments from Ford. It should be good to go. I run that same tune on our dually.

Don't let him off the hook. It doesn't matter if it works on his truck, you're interested in your truck. It is supposed to be a custom tune. Tell hime you are not happy with it and if he is not willing to try to fix it you'd like a refund as you are not going to run it.

Then go get the SRL from Matt

Maybe return your truck back to stock and then re-load the tune to see if it changes anything.

Well I just went and started up my truck for the morning, and it freakin' hard started like it did with Vivian's tunes a bad FICM. WHAT THE HECK?

I'm starting to think that my truck will only start right on tuning with pilot injection. Is that still available? I had an OLD Xtreme Race that started really smooth and quiet. Was that pilot injection? That's the results I want. I would load the tune and take a video of how quiet it was, but they reflashed me to VXAP2N2 recently.

i also what the xrace and its really long to start today it took two 5 sec cranks for it to start up ...it sucks

I am running SRL+ for studded trucks and in the morning mine cranks up in less than a second. When it is warm it might take a second or a second and a quarter. I haven't run Erics tunes since they wanted me to pay $80 to update my Xtreme Street for the new flash ( VXCF9).
