SCT Canned Tunes EGR Update / Question

I just got my SF3 in the mail tonight. I haven't plugged it into my truck yet, I am currently updating the firmware and the canned tunes from the SCT website.

I have a couple questions:

1) The canned tunes from the SCT website were updated just a couple weeks ago on 8/30 to v1.4.1. The description mentions "-6.0 Diesel EGR Fix for 2005-2007 trucks." Does anyone know what this fix is and what it changes?

2) I understand there may be a setting or an option when I load a tune to turn off EGR or disable it or something similar. What exactly is this feature and is it something safe and something that I want to do on an otherwise stock truck?

More than likely it kills the low egr flow fault if egr system is deleted I would say but not 110 %

We have been working with SCT to get a this option on the 3015. This option is designed to shut off the sensor for the low flow egr code. It is designed to work on the 06 & 07 6.0 powerstroke. We have found some strategy codes still will throw a code but it does fix most. This is exclusively for the 3015 and SCT Canned tunes. Dealers like us with the abilities to do custom tunes still have the ability to turn the CEL off on any year and strategy.

So, does the option to turn EGR on or off in the canned tunes just turn off the sensor (so no check engine light for a delete), or does it actually disable the EGR function? If it disables the function, would it do any harm or good to turn it off?

I plan to do an EGR delete in the future, and that was part of the reason for getting an SCT, but until then I'm wondering if I should use this.

my sct has the egr off and have no SES light but when im on the throttle and lett it iddle it will start "camming " hard ......and on the edge insight cts it throws 2 codes cnt tremeber right now but it does throw 2 dtc's
