Innovative Tune Differences
I have a question regarding innovative tunes. I bought an X3 with eric's street and extreme street tune. I am currently running the street tune and hand calculating my fuel mileage. It has improved over stock. I am debating on the next tank of fuel to run the extreme street to compare. My truck is stock as for the motor but has a 3" lift with 325/60/18 tires. I had Bill at PHP reflash the PCM and he corrected the stock file for the tires.
I do not hot rod my truck and drive very conservative. My concern is am i risking anything driving the extreme street tune with a stock truck. Will i see a better increase in mpg? |

You will love extreme street on a stock truck. I ran that tune for about 40k on a stock truck with no issues.
Disclaimer: Mileage increase depends on right foot usage after tuning

I don't think he corrected the speedo as it is controlled by abs, I think the tire size adjusts the shift points only.
