Question re: Injectors, Custom Tunes
Is there any custom size injectors anyone would suggest for a 6.0?
FYI the 6.0 has EGR Delete and ARP head bolts installed. The goal would be to add a more HP through upgraded injectors without hurting the reliabilty. And in addition who makes the best custom tunes for 6.0? I know PHP, TW, DP make great tunes for 7.3 but what about 6.0? Thanks E |

List goes on my friend, Injectors for the stock turbo MAX is 190's and still have good drivability anything bigger is gonna be way to hot and smokey. Injector wise depending how far you wanna go and what your doing. 155-175's are good for a stock charger. Bigger then 175 your gonna start getting into fuel systems to support it, and turbos as well to get max power out of them.

155-175 is great for reliability, performance. A turbo upgrade will keep you from waisting fuel with excess smoke by the bigger inj.

i ran DP tunes on my 7.3L with success for years, when i got my 6.0L i tried a few others, then i went back to what worked... been running DP tunes on my 6.0L ever since, great 6.0L tunes too.....
sadly though the 6.0 doesnt wake up quite as much as the 7.3 did, but thats cause its already pretty good to start with!..... but i remember the first day i tuned my 7.3L and it was eye opening, its not exactly the same with the 6.0, but it does make a big differance |
