sct tuner/ programer few questions

okay i just bought the SCT Livewire Programmer and were do i purchase the custom tunes from?? i have not recieved it yet but how hard is it to install and is there anything else that i need to do to my engine before i use it. new 4 inch banks exhaust, new head studs, new turbo. how do i get custom tunes and do these programmers come with tunes in them already. Dont now much about vehicles this is why i am asking. What is involved for installing it

i know it comes with tunes already on it as far as the custom stuff goes idk...and i have only used the programer no livewire so im not sure how to hook it up but no you shouldent need anything it would be best if you had straightpipe...dont know much either buts that is what i do know

I'm waitin for a Livewire myself, they aren't difficult to install as they just plug right into your OBD2 port. They come with 3 canned tunes from what I've read. Just follow the instructions on installing the tunes and away you go. I've used older handheld units and they are pretty easy so this should be same.
Custom tunes can be gotten from several venders just do a search lots of stuff on here about it.
To read EGTs you will need the probe, I'm tryin to decide if I go with Livewire probe to monitor EGTs or pillar gauges......hmmmmm what to do......
