DisSapointed with SCT Livewire

I got my Livewire from IDP today and setup the initial street tune as I am waiting on the custom tunes from Eric. My question is where does everyone mount their's up at based on the size of that monster. Secondly does anyone have theirs set to turn off when the key turns off? Mine is on constantly right now and if I can find a nice spot to mount it and get the lights to shut off I am sending it back, going flash style with a handheld and getting gauges. HELP BROTHERS!!!!

i hate mine too i sit in on the floor lol i bought the 25 dollar window mount and you cant see if you mount it on your window. if you hold the "esc" button down on the livewre it will turn off. but you have to turn it on and off everytime. so most of the time its off and on the floor. worst decision i have made for my 6.0 so wish i would have listened and did x3 and gauges or better monitor.

we both are disapointed owners of the livewire. i love the sct tunes and my custom ones but the livewire size is a HUGE downfall

I don't know, mine doesn't bother me as much. I usually sit for a second before I go anywhere anyway so turning the livewire on and off doesn't bother me.

I also don't notice it being in the way, but maybe that's just the way I sit. I'll take a pic of my setup and see if its the same as you guys.

I'd say send it back and go with the X3 and then order an Edge Insight CTS. CTS comes with the mount and won't take up your windshield. I have this combo and love it. But, to each his own....good luck!

I have the same one...I ahve the custom tunes from Eric i run the extreme street everyday and when I need to tow I pull it out and switch it over to the tow tune. Probably not the smartest as I am fixing to do my headstuds and gaskets but damn its fun to drive.

I won't be running the extreme street from Eric, regular street tune from him should be good once I get the programmer situation figured out. I am thinking EGT and boost mechanicals will be what I run with the handheld flash with Eric's tune.
